2nd Annual Relay For Life Tournament

Fishermen and women coming in for the 2nd Annual Relay for Life Tournament weigh-in held on April 28, 2012 on beautiful Lake St. John. Twenty three (23) teams competed raising $450.00 for the American Cancer Society. Congratulations to John Bruce & Russ Pritchard on their first place win with 13.72 lbs. Big Bass honors went to Galen & Cricket Collins with a 3.91 lb. bass.

2012 Okhissa Lake Big Bass Challenge

Doll Dedeaux Destre Dedeaux

58 Fishermen and women turned out for the Homochitto Heritage Club Big Bass Challenge on Okhissa Lake despite a late spring cold front. Andy McDaniel took the early lead in the 6-9 weigh period with a 5.73 lb. bass. Destre Dedeaux took over the lead in the 9-11 weigh period with a 6.37. But Destre got bumped in the 11-1 weigh period by his wife, Doll Dedeaux with a nice 6.84 Okhissa bass. The lead changed hands during the final weigh period when Kell Thompson hit the scales with a 6.98 for the win!
